exceptionally comfortable bed in the double room, plus central heating, a coffee/tea maker, and multi-channel tv. good bathroom, very, very nice staff with onsite manager. the most important - perfect location in event of absent management as a matter of course if at all possible. based just next door to restaurant as well as southland.

The modern double room I stayed in had a private bathroom with a bath. the staff were accommodating and provided great recommendations. the location was convenient and perfect, just a short walk away from a large medieval baptistery.
